RV Water Heater Anode Rod

An anode rod only protects the tank from rusting (expensive repair) while it still has metal to corrode. Once the rod has been fully corroded, the tank will begin rusting. Check or replace your anode every season or 2 to 3 months and clean out all the sediments.

Features: 9 ¼” long with ¾” NPT thread Installation with 1-1/16″ socket (socket not included) Compatible with Suburban and Mor-Flo Water Heaters

【Water Heater Maintance Kit】 Whether you are a beginner who just bought a RV or a travel expert who has lived in a RV for a long time, our RV water heater maintenance kit can allow you to do a more effective deep cleaning of the scale and sediment inside the water heater. You will receive 2 anode rods, 1 Teflon tape.
【High Quality and Safe Material】 Our Magnesium anode rod made from top-quality material which is safe for the human body! Replacing the anode rod in a water heater before it fails can slow down rust inside the tank and significantly extend the life of the water heater. Anode rod size is: 9 ¼” long with ¾” NPT thread, installation with 1-1/16″ socket (socket not included) , compatible with Suburban and Mor-Flo Water Heaters.
【Installation】 The method of installation is simple, we provide plumbers tape to tighten the screws, use the appropriate wrench, 1-1/16th socket tool to replace the anode rod. Best used with cleaning tools. Turn off the gas, electric supply, and water supply to the heater for your safety.
【Importance of Deep Cleaning】 We recommend that you do a fast cleaning of the water heater every 2-3 months, and a deep cleaning every 6 months. For deep cleaning, you can use white vinegar (not included) with the drain plug we provided, so that the white vinegar can fully react in the tank, which can effectively dissolve the scale and attachments.
【Precautions】 To prevent you from injury, and splashing of sewage, please be sure to turn off the water heater, cool the hot water, and release the pressure in the tank! Wrapping Teflon tape around the top of the anode rod nut will allow it to be installed on the tank a little tighter.
